There’s more federal funding coming to our area.
Perth-Wellington MPP Gary Schellenberger announced the money today on behalf of the Department of Canadian Heritage.
Among the recipients are the Stratford City Centre Committee and the Kinsmen Club of Stratford. The committee is getting $4,000 and the Kinsmen are getting $3,500.
The money is going towards Canada Day activities. It’s coming from the Celebrate Canada program.
Here is the complete list of recipients:
– $4,000 for the Corporation of the City of Stratford – Stratford City Centre Committee
– $3,600 for the Crossroads Life Church for celebrations in Harriston
– $3,500 for the Kinsmen Club of Stratford
– $560 for the Mitchell Rotary Club
– $500 for the Corporation of the Town of St. Mary’s
