Ash Street home fire not believed to be suspicious

A fire at an Ash Street home is not believed to be suspicious.

According to Stratford Fire Chief John Paradis a call came in just after 12:15 p.m. Friday.  A neighbour had spotted smoke coming out of the attic.

Chief Paradis says firefighters worked quickly and saved the structure.  The cause of the fire is believed to be electrical and is not considered suspicious at this time.

There were no injuries.
