South Perth Centennial School near St. Marys is getting some cash.
They’ve been given $2,000 through the Toyota Evergreen Learning Grounds fund. It’s a national program aimed at creating inviting, dynamic school grounds with diverse natural features.
South Perth Centennial will use the money to expand its existing arboretum and to create a learning platform using the native trees and shrubs. The school has also received $3500 through a TD Friends of the Environment grant.
