Stratford gearing up for Canada Day celebrations

Stratford, and the rest of the country, are gearing up for Canada Day.  The nation turns 148-years-old on Wednesday.

Gary O’Connell is the chair for the Canada Day festivities.  He says they’ve lined up a great show:

O’Connell says there’s stuff for the kids as well:

The Canada Day Festivities get underway at noon at Market Square that day.  The parade is set for 7:00 p.m. downtown with fireworks at the SERC Site after that.

You can find a list of road closures related to the Canada Day celebrations at the City of Stratford’s website.
