Loretta Agnes Duskocy, age 93, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Hillside Manor, RR 5, Stratford on Saturday April 5, 2014.
Born in Kinkora, Ontario, daughter of the late Bernard McDonnell and Margaret Fitzgibbon. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Loretta always enjoyed spending time with her family and they were the love of her life.
Beloved wife for 56 years to the late Peter Duskocy who predeceased her on August 2, 1999. Loving mother to Dianne Seary (John), Stratford, Ray Duskocy (Janice), Woodstock, Keith Duskocy (Katie), Stratford, and Peter Duskocy (Sharon), Goderich and daughter-in-law Anna Duskocy, Mitchell.
Cherished grandmother of Lisa, Chris (Heather), Dana (Pam), Brad (Michelle), Kim (Shawn), Aaron, Kyle and Ryan. Great grandmother of Claire, Riley, Owen and Kody. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families.
Predeceased by brothers Wilfred (Julia) McDonnell, Edward (Verna) McDonnell, sister Margaret Mary (Peter) Terpstra, son Wayne Duskocy and grandsons Paul and Jason Duskocy.
Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford on Tuesday April 8th from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday April 9th at 2 p.m. Fr. Dick Bester will officiate. Interment will follow in Avondale Cemetery.
