Mary Margaret Bender, age 95, passed away peacefully at Wildwood Care Centre, St. Marys on May 2, 2017. She was born in Stratford, June 15, 1921, daughter of the late Jack and Florence Bruckshaw. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Bender, by a son William David Bender and by a sister Nellie Wray. Survived by a daughter Donna and James Dougherty, St. Marys, her first husband Laverne Daum, Stratford; three grandchildren Thomas Daum and Jane of Stratford, Tamara Livingston of Brampton, Terrance and Carmel Daum, Stratford. She has 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Mary was a lifelong member of Parkview United Church and the UCW. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Avondale Cemetery, Stratford. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice through the W.G.
