Tomorrow is International Overdose Awareness Day and the Perth District Health Unit will be doing its part to contribute to the cause.
The health unit is taking the opportunity to remind residents if you, a friend or a loved one is struggling with substance abuse or addiction there are resources in place to help.
It recently set up two Community Sharps Disposal Kiosks in Stratford, one located near the Festival Square on Erie Street and the other near its office at the West Gore parking lot.
It’s part of a partnership with the organization Choices for Change which is helping the health unit set up harm reduction services.
