The Special Investigations Unit has ended its investigation into a 20-year-old woman who was reportedly hurt during an arrest in Grand Bend.
The OPP says the woman was arrested for being drunk in public in downtown Grand Bend where she later hurt her hand in a cell.
The agency says after looking at the evidence from the incident last month it called off the investigation.
The SIU is called in whenever death, injury or allegations of assault are made against police while a suspect or victim is in their custody.
