Police Looking for Witnesses After Building Supplies Stolen in Tavistock

The Oxford County OPP is looking for witnesses to the theft of over $6,500 of lumber from Tavistock.

Police say the theft likely took place sometime between October 18^th and October 25^th at a home under construction on Roth Street.

The OPP says they canvassed the area looking for any evidence of the 168 stolen sheets of plywood but came up with nothing.

If you noticed anything suspicious in the area last week you’re being asked to contact police.
