Gordon Davidson, age 77, passed away peacefully at the Mitchell Nursing Home on November 14, 2017. Born in Stratford, July 18, 1940, son of the late Robert and Nancy (Cheer) Davidson. Beloved husband of Mary (Townsend). Loving father of James Davidson and Catherine Davidson (deceased December 1, 2016). Also survived by a sister-in-law Florence Davidson. Predeceased by his brother Robert Davidson (1984). Gordon was an employee of Fram for 34 years until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of Life Church, Stratford.
Visitation at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Sunday, November 19, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Pastor Joel French will officiate. Cremation will follow with interment at Avondale Cemetery.
