Today students could be staging walkouts at 13 colleges across Ontario, including Fanshawe in London.
Ontario Students United organized the walk-out which is scheduled to be carried out at noon today, it’s not clear if it will be carried out at its other satellite campuses.
The group has a list of demands which is set to be delivered to each college which includes the disbanding of the Employee College Council.
It’s calling for a new body to be formed made up of college faculty, administrators and students.
Other demands include more leniency and fairness shown to international students, full refunds following the five week strike by faculty for students and better protection for workers.
