Four County Labour Market Board Collecting Employer Data

Local businesses and corporations still have time to contribute to a survey aimed at improving the region’s job market.

The Four County Labour Market Board’s EmployerOne Survey collects data anonymously from employers for use in finding vacancies, insight into job trends, which sectors are hiring or struggling, training and education.

Executive Director of Partner’s in Employment, Deb Hotchkiss says the data can then be accessed by anyone.

She says despite the low unemployment rate in the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula economic region, retaining younger workers is still an issue.

She says the board is looking at how to keep youth in the area, the impact of the minimum wage increase, which sectors need what and when.

You can find the survey here.
