Provincial Inquest Launched into 2016 Workplace Death

An inquest is being launched into the death of 54-year-old Murray Hyde.

The province says Hyde was hurt while working on a road construction project in Sebringville in the summer of 2016.

The 54-year-old from Shakespeare later died at the Stratford General Hospital after succumbing to his injuries.

The province says the mandatory inquest is set for Tuesday, March 20^th at the Perth County Courthouse in Stratford.

Six witnesses are expected to be called over the course of three days.
