Stratford Police Seize $5,000 Worth of Meth Following Search

Stratford Police have seized a number of replica guns, a double-barrel shotgun and meth from a home in the city.

Acting Deputy Chief of Police Sam Theocharis says the Street Crime and Emergency Response units teamed up to carry out a search warrant in a home on Victoria Street on Tuesday.

Investigators say about $5,000 worth methamphetamines were found inside the home.

A 56-year-old woman is facing multiple weapons charges, possession and trafficking of drugs.

Theocharis says it’s the second time this woman has been arrested for meth trafficking in the last six months.
