Flags Lowered In Stratford In Support Of Humboldt Tragedy

Across Canada, the impact of the deadly bus crash in Saskatchewan that claimed the lives of 15 members of the Humboldt Broncos continues to be felt.
Here in our city, Mayor Dan Mathieson tweeted yesterday afternoon that from today until Friday the flags on all city buildings will be lowered to observe a week of mourning for the victims and to show support for the City of Humboldt.
Mathieson says in his tweet that “we share your loss and we grieve with you.”
Stratford Police, meanwhile, tweeted on Saturday that they are sending their thoughts and prayers to the players, families and first responders involved in the heartbreaking incident.
