A Stratford company that’s been in business for over fifty years is expanding.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Thursday morning at Stackpole International to mark the opening of their new 20 thousand square foot addition at their location on Monteith Avenue.
The new production lines at the facility will employ 87 people at full capacity, according to the company, and generate sales of over $22 million.
They will be used to launch eight new products over the next few years with transmission parts supplying Ford and GM.
The business has four other plants in Ontario with the Stratford Power Metal Division being its largest which employs 560 people.
