The Stars of the Festival are going to get their chance to shine.
To mark the end of the 92nd Kiwanis Festival of the Performing Arts in Stratford, the Stars of the Festival performance is being held Monday night at the Avondale United Church.
Organizers say its a celebration of the hard work and achievements of the participants from the festival and will feature performances, provincial team announcements and award presentations.
Executive Director of the Kiwanis Festival of the Performing Arts Janis Auster says there will be something for everyone.
“The Stratford Central Jazz Band is going to play to I have a couple of tiny tots who are going to play, a musical theatre kid and a little girl who’s going to play Blowing In The Wind on her ukulele and sing, it’s going to be really fun.”
The show goes from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and admission is by donation.
