Three people face drug related charges after a vehicle was stopped by police in Ingersoll.

Police say they were carrying out a R.I.D.E program in the area of Clark Road East and Harris Street last Thursday just after midnight when they stopped a vehicle and checked the driver for sobriety.

They say three people were arrested, a 39-year-old man along with a 32-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman all from Ingersoll, with each facing charges of trafficking cocaine.

The 39-year-old man also faces charges including possessing a weapon and obstructing a peace officer.

The three are due to appear in a Woodstock court at a later date.
