Heat Warning continues for Perth County

Is it hot enough for you?
We saw the temperature hit a high of 30 Sunday with the humidex making it feel much warmer and Monday it’s not going to be any cooler with the high expected to be around 31 with the humidex expected to make it feel like 40.
That has prompted Environment Canada to keep a Heat Warning in effect for our area.
There is also a Special Air Quality statement in effect with the heat making some people experiencing symptoms including coughing, throat irritation, headaches and shortness of breath.
Health officials say the elderly and the very young are most prone to being affected by the heat.
A cold front is expected to move across the area Monday night bringing an end to the hot weather.
