It’s your chance to check out a fire truck first hand.
The Stratford Fire Department is holding an open house Saturday where everyone is invited to come visit the fire hall on Erie Street.
It goes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and there will also be a BBQ from 11 until 1.
Stratford Fire Department Fire Prevention Officer Rod MacDonald says they are excited to have people come visit.
“We haven’t had an open house at the fire department for a number of years now so it’s been a great event to plan and we hope as many people in the community can come.”
MacDonald adds kids of all ages will be able to climb through the fire trucks and try out the siren.
