Verdict Reached in Panovski Trial

The jury delivered its verdict in the murder trial of Boris Panovski and found the 74-year old guilty of first degree murder in the shooting death of Don Frigo and guilty of aggravated assault of his wife Eva.   The trial which lasted about six weeks, came to a close Friday after the jury started deliberations late Thursday afternoon. Frigo was shot and killed at the Hullett Wildlife conservation Area near Clinton in September of 2014 and his wife Eva was wounded in the shooting.  It’s expected that an appeal will be launched.  Victim impact statements and sentencing will take place on July 5th
