Nick Aroutzidis, was re-elected as president of the Stratford Warriors at the club’s AGM earlier this month. He has said the board will continue to look at cutting costs in an effort to balance the budget. After losing more than $93,000 two seasons ago, the Clubs deficit topped $26,000 in 2017-18. Two years in the red have left the club with a bank balance and investments of $55,000. Aroutzidis said the team had a bad year In 2016-17, but have been turnings things around and is not too concerned because the new board has new people and ideas that will work hard for the upcoming next season and will try to introduce new fundraising efforts.
