We now know the name of the man killed in a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV near Stratford.
Police say 64-year-old Lawrence Shepherd from Middlesex County was riding on the motorcycle around 1 o’clock Sunday afternoon when the collision happened at the intersection of Perth Line 20 and Perth Road 164.
They say investigators have determined that the motorcycle was travelling southbound on Perth Road 164 when it was struck by the westbound SUV on Perth Line 20.
Shepherd was pronounced dead at the scene and a pick-up truck that was indirectly involved was damaged.
The intersection was closed for 6 hours for an investigation but has since re-opened, police continue to look into what happened.
