A collision between a transport truck trailer and a bicyclist in Oxford County has lead to one man being charged.
Police say it happened Tuesday morning just before 8 o’clock at the intersection of Foldens Line and Karn Road.
They say the transport truck approached the intersection when a bicyclist collided with a trailer on the truck, the truck swerved to avoid the crash but to no avail.
Police say the bicyclist was on his cell phone at the time of the crash.
The collision left the bicyclist with minor injuries and he was brought to hospital for treatment.
He has been charged with fail to yield to traffic on a through highway contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
