With the beginning of the school year quickly approaching, you’re being asked for your support.
The Stratford House of Blessing is putting on a school supply drive for new backpacks, pencil cases, crayons, markers and more.
You can drop off your donations at the Stratford House of Blessing on Erie Street with cash donations being accepted at the Staples in Stratford or at the House of Blessing.
Stratford House of Blessing Executive Director Terressa McMurray says the program benefits those who need it the most.
“Already we have 250 children signed up, over 250 children, so we’ll be dispersing those bags in the next two weeks, not this week but beginning on August 21st.
