Photo credit: supplied A 58-year-old Kitchener man has been charged after a fatal house explosion in Kitchener. Waterloo Regional Police have charged 58-year-old Udo Haan in connection to the death of Edra Haan. The man made his first court appearance, via audio, Tuesday and he faces charges including first-degree murder, arson with disregard to human life and two counts of arson damage to property. Back on August 22nd, Edra Haan was found dead in the backyard of her home after it exploded. Udo Haan was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries and police say he was arrested on Sunday. His next court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
