Ruth Leonora Tubbe, age 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Greenwood Court. Ruth was born September 23, 1928 in Niagara Falls, New York, daughter of the late Gilbert and Adele (Scholz) Tubbe. She was a Stratford resident most of her life and worked as a legal secretary; she was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church (Stratford); a member of Lutheran Hour Ministry; a Life member of Beta Sigma Phi and a member of Telecare. Ruth is survived by many cousins and a special friend George Miller. Friends and relatives are invited to Ruth’s funeral service on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 115 Cambria Street, Stratford from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in Avondale Cemetery following the reception.
