A 33-year-old North Perth man faces charges including assault with a weapon.
Perth County OPP says they got a call from a citizen at around 7:30 p.m. Sunday about a break-and-enter at an adjacent apartment in North Perth.
Officers quickly arrived on scene and they say they found a male victim suffering from an injury that happened during the incident.
Perth County Paramedics also came to the scene.
George Poortinga has been charged with Break and Enter and Assault with A Weapon.
He was scheduled to appear in court in Stratford Monday.
