Charges could be laid following two collisions in New Hamburg that happened minutes within each other.
As My Stratford Now.comĀ reported Monday night, the first crash happened on Highway 7/8 around 5 p.m. and sent four people to the hospital including one with critical injuries.
Police now say that one vehicle was trying to make a left-hand turn as another was going through the intersection at Hamilton Road.
The male driver from that vehicle was taken to hospital with critical injuries while the other driver was also brought to hospital with minor injuries.
Two children in one of the vehicles weren’t seriously injured.
Around the same time, a five-vehicle crash happened on the highway near Nafziger Road with three people takenĀ to the hospital.
Police say one person suffered head injuries while the other two who weren’t seriously injured.
