Police: Toddler airlifted to hospital after being struck by vehicle in St.Clements

Police say a toddler is recovering from injuries after being accidentally struck by his father’s vehicle in St.Clements.

Waterloo Regional Police say the 1-and-a-half-year-old boy ran out into the driveway and was run over by the vehicle driven by his father at around 10:30 Sunday morning.

Police say the child was trapped under the vehicle and the extent of the child’s injuries wasn’t known.

He was taken to Grand River Hospital and then airlifted to Hamilton General.
