Deadly collision case put on hold for third time

The case of a deadly collision that left a Stratford teen dead has been put on hold for the third time.

The Stratford Beacon Herald reports that the lawyer representing Favian Lee-Allert asked for three more weeks to review further disclosure provided Monday by the assistant Crown attorney.

The lawyer also said that he expects further disclosure in the coming weeks and asked for a February 4th return date.

Nineteen-year-old Lee-Allert, from Burlington, faces seven charges including impaired driving causing death with none of the charges being tested in court yet.

Back on October 28th last year, police say a single-vehicle collision happened around 3:30 a.m. involving a Chrysler 300 at the intersection of Embro Road and Erie Street.

Police say the vehicle was driving west on Embro Road when it hit a boulevard, went across Erie Street, and ended up stopping on a lawn on the northwest side of the street.

Nineteen-year-old Eric Millar, from Stratford, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Lee-Allert and a female were taken to the hospital and later released with the Burlington male arrested.
