Fedeli reportedly suing Patrick Brown for millions
Vic Fedeli is now suing Patrick Brown for $8 million.
The Toronto Star reports Ontario’s Finance Minister took the next step in legal action after demanding Brown remove libelous statements about Fedeli in his memoir book Takedown. Brown alleged Fedeli had “engaged in workplace sexual harassment”.
Police report suggests Wettlaufer confessed to attacking 15th victim
Elizabeth Wettlaufer is not facing charges for attacking a 15th victim.
According to police documents obtained by CBC News, the serial killer nurse confessed last year to double dosing a patient in London with insulin in 2014 to help speed up her death. The OPP reportedly said charges weren’t laid as Wettlaufer is already serving a life sentence for her other crimes.

The chief of the international alliance says China must listen to Canada’s concerns and treat the detained men fairly. Both were detained last year, shortly after Canadian authorities arrested Huawei’s CFO in what the feds believe was direct retaliation.

Ottawa does not believe Vladimir Putin is a war criminal.
A request from a Conservative MP to give the Russian President the dubious label was recent rejected by the feds. The MP was supporting a petition which also called for Putin be referred to the International Criminal Court for undermining rules-based international order.
Doug Ford supporter turns down $150,000 adviser role
Doug Ford will not be getting a very senior adviser joining his party.
97-year-old Hazel McCallion has turned down an offer of $150,000 to act as a special adviser for Ford and his Municipal Affairs Minister. McCallion, who was reportedly a strong supporter of Ford during his campaign, said she had too many other commitments.
