A quick-thinking Huron County woman helped police catch a young thief.
She heard the sound of breaking glass Wednesday morning in Dungannon coming from a neighbour’s back yard.
She noticed a man trying to break into a vehicle and called police.
She then followed the suspect as police were on route and relayed his position.
The 16-year-old was arrested without incident.
Police found that he had been drinking and was serving a probation sentence.
