Staying off the roads and going slow when they are driving.
That’s what Stratford Police say they believe is behind a lack of any major collisions brought on by the blast of winter we saw this week.
Police say they reported to a few minor collisions over the last few days, but unlike other areas, there were no serious injuries or major collisions.
They say the message about driving safely during the winter appears to be hitting home.
There were several serious collisions around the area over the past few days including a fatal collision yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon on Highway 401 near Ingersoll.
