It’s been another busy couple of days for Stratford Public Works.
Following a weekend of winter maintenance operations, officials say public works crews made another sweep of the city Tuesday.
Streets were treated with a mixture of sand and salt and sidewalks were sanded in anticipation of the freezing rain that’s expected to be on the way.
The city’s mechanics also prepared equipment so that a full complement is ready for the next visit from winter.
Drivers are being reminded that there is no parking on city streets between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. through the winter to help with maintenance operations.
