It’s good news for Stratford Summer Music.
Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece has announced the annual festival will receive an operating grant of $46,000. The grant is being made available through the Ontario Arts Council.
Stratford Summer Music is held over the summer months at over 100 events in indoor and outdoor venues.
“The arts played a major role in the history and economic development of Perth-Wellington,” said Pettapiece. “Our government understands how valuable culture is to the lives and communities of Ontarians. This funding will ensure Stratford Summer Music continues to have a positive impact on our community and draw visitors to our riding.”
Stratford Summer Music is one of 50 theatrical and musical organizations receiving the grants.
