Passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, June 30, 2019. Delford resided in Egmondville, Ontario and was formerly of RR#2 Milverton. Delford was born 84 years ago in Mornington Township, a son of the late Milton Schade and former Vera Diehl. Delford is reunited with his beloved wife Louise (Sproul) Schade who predeceased him in 2012. Dear brother and best friends of Elvera and husband Richard Purdy. Special uncle to Trevor Purdy. Delford is survived by his one aunt Isobel Diehl, brothers in law Gary Sproul and friend Margaret Foran and Delmer and wife Judy Sproul as well as by many cousins, nieces, nephews and his dear neighbours in Egmondville, whom he loved and appreciated dearly.
Delford was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Zurich and was a handy man. He farmed for many years and enjoyed fixing old tractors and repairing televisions and radios.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 4 – 7 p.m. and again on Thursday, July 4 at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Zurich from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow in the Church at 11:00 a.m.. Pastor Nadine Schroeder-Kranz officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton.
