Stratford will have to wait for its first cannabis retailer.
After the latest Ontario cannabis lottery was held, Stratford still remains on the outside looking in when it comes to having a dispensary set up in the city.
There were ten applications from those interested in setting up a shop in the city in the latest lottery round but none were chosen.
Close to Stratford, two London sites are on the list of proposed licensed cannabis retail stores while Kitchener is also on the list with two.
London already has three pot shops that received licenses in the first lottery earlier this year.
