The OPP is reminding you about river safety.
The heavy rainfall from earlier this week is now finished but local waterways remain high for the time being.
In particular, the Grand River, Conestogo River and their tributaries are running much higher and faster than usual.
Police urge you to be vigilant and talk to your children about water safety.
Before heading out; tell someone where you’re going, wear a PFD and stay away from dams and other water structures with a strong undertow.
