The 24th Annual Stratford Rotary Dragon Boat Festival is being held Saturday. The one-day festival will see over 40 teams race on Lake Victoria in Stratford.
The event has raised over $800,000 for Rotary-supported activities throughout the community.
There will be some road closures because of the Festival from 5 am to 9 pm on Saturday, September 14th:
- Lakeside Drive from Morenz Drive to Queen Street
• Front Street from Lakeside Drive to Ballantyne Avenue
From 7 am until 10 pm, the following roads will be closed to through traffic:
- North Street from Lakeside Drive to Water Street
- • Front Street from Ballantyne Avenue to Cobourg
• Trow Avenue from Water Street to Cobourg Street
• Cobourg Street from Trow Avenue to Queen Street
• Water Street from Morenz Drive to Trow Avenue
• Ballantyne Avenue from North Street to Queen Street
