The power is back on in parts of Stratford that saw the lights go out after a dump truck struck some wires.
Police tell MyStratfordNow.com that they were called to Wright Boulevard around 1:15 Monday afternoon following the collision.
Wright Boulevard was closed in the area while hydro crews were on scene to repair the fallen wires.
Police say the driver wasn’t hurt and that charges could possibly be laid.
Festival Hydro says they believe some fibre optic lines may have been cut as well in the incident.
They say that they will be working to restore fibre optic services as soon as it is safe to do so.
