Perth District Health Unit searching for dog involved in biting incident in Stratford

The Perth District Health Unit is searching for a dog they say bit a person in Stratford.

The PDHU says the incident happened around 6:30 Tuesday morning on Borden Street near Bruce Street.

They say the animal involved in the incident is described as a young, medium-sized, shorthaired beige dog and it was being walked by a man and a woman on a leash.

The Health Unit is investigating to check if the dog has up-to-date rabies shots.

If the dog isn’t found, the person who was bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Perth District Health Unit.
