It’s an evening designed to pay tribute to women in Stratford and area.
Stratford Optimism Place is putting on the 21st annual Women of the Year celebration Friday night in the city with organizers saying that the event recognizes Perth County women who have improved the lives of other women and girls through outstanding contributions.
This year, 22 women are nominated across eight categories.
Optimism Place Executive Director Jasmine Clark says the night is all about paying tribute to those special women in our community.
“We’ve had nominees from across Perth County, not just Stratford, who are joining us that night and I think that it’s truly an event that’s for women and celebrates women.”
The event takes place at the Best Western Plus The Arden Park in Stratford.
