Heavy rain and wind for Halloween; possible flurries on the weekend

Just in time for trick or treating Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Perth County.

The weather agency says we could see significant rainfall of 30 to 50 millimetres with the heaviest Thursday afternoon and that umbrella isn’t going to help.

Wind gusts of 70 kilometres an hour are also expected Halloween night and into Friday.

By the way, Environment Canada is also calling for showers and possible flurries on the weekend.
