Four people face charges after drug bust in Perth County

More drugs have been taken off the streets in Perth County.

Perth County OPP, with help from other agencies including the Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit and the West Region Emergency Response Team, says they seized meth and cocaine from a vehicle in the area on Wednesday.

As part of the investigation, search warrants were used to go into separate homes in Perth East and Perth South that same day with police seizing meth and drug-trafficking paraphernalia.

A 33-year-old Cambridge woman, a 38-year-old Grand Bend man, and two other people from Perth East have all been charged.

Police say the drugs they seized are worth around $2,700 while the seized cash and drug-trafficking paraphernalia are worth around $7,500.

The four all have future court dates in Stratford.
