Stratford Police arrest two people wanted on outstanding warrants

Two people wanted on outstanding warrants can add possession charges to their court dates.

The Stratford Police Service stopped a pick up on Perth Road 119 at 3 in the morning Tuesday.

A 31-year old man was wanted by London police and a 36-year old woman was wanted by Huron County OPP.

After the pair was arrested police searched the truck and found what they think is purple fentanyl and crystal meth.

The drugs have been sent for analysis.

The man was sent to London to answer to his charge and the woman was released on a promise to appear.
