Over 1-thousand synchronized skaters are descending upon the area.
The 2019 Bill Phillips Memorial Synchronized Skating Competition is taking place today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) in Dorchester with 101 teams taking part.
Synchronized skating is a sport where between 12 and 20 figure skaters perform together as a team, moving as a flowing unit at high speed over the ice while completing complicated footwork.
Tavistock Team Unity is co-hosting the event with Skate Ontario.
