Woodstock City Council has a new acting Mayor in place for 2020.
At their meeting on Thursday, council appointed Councillor Mark Schadenburg to the position.
He replaces Jerry Acchione who served as acting Mayor for 2019.
Each year, Woodstock City Council appoints someone new to serve in the position of acting Mayor and they go to public events and preside over council meetings when Mayor Trevor Birtch is absent.
