Stratford Public Library closed

The Stratford Public Library is closed until further notice.

The Board made the decision after it was announced all public schools would be closed for three weeks.

March Break is the busiest time of year with over 16,000 visits and the Board is supporting the ongoing efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19 in the community.  The Library will close Friday, March 13th at 6:00 p.m.

Keynotes for patrons:
• This closure includes all physical services including book lending, programs, and reference
services
• The book drop will not be available; SPL requests that all patrons keep the materials they
currently have until the Library reopens. There will be no late fees during this period.
• E-services will remain available for use through the Library’s website, including:
o E-books, e-audio books, digital magazines
o Streaming video
o Research databases and continuing education platforms such as Lynda.com and Gale
Courses
