Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth moves to essential services only

The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth is closing its centres and moving to essential services only over COVID-19.
The centres, located in Kitchener and Stratford, are being closed until further notice due to the pandemic.
Ontario has deemed animal welfare organizations an essential service and the humane society has changed its services to include things like animal control.
The organization’s essential services also includes the general care and veterinary care of the animals in their facilities.
A dedicated essential staff team will remain in place to care for the animals, while other animals will move into foster care until adoptions can resume.
You can contact the humane society for more information.
